Henry regularly advises and represents clients in claims for breach of contract and misrepresentation, often involving unpaid commercial debts and defective building works.
He also has experience of advising on claims against dealers and auction houses arising out of allegedly forged works of art.
He is currently instructed in relation to a c.£1.5m cross-border contractual dispute between companies incorporated in England and California.
Henry is very aware of the commercial benefits of mediation. As part of his secondment in 2015 to Eversheds’ Financial Services Disputes and Investigations team, he assisted in the successful mediation of a multi-million pound service contract dispute between two infrastructure development companies, helping to advise the client before and during the mediation and to draft the mediation position statement and proposed terms of settlement.
