Vastly experienced, Keith became Senior Clerk of the Chambers of John Mills QC at 11 Old Square in 1978, at the tender age of 21. Keith, alongside John Clark, has been joint senior clerk of Radcliffe Chambers since the merger with 11 New Square in 2006.
During his career, Keith has clerked such luminaries as Lord Browne-Wilkinson of Camden, Lord Scott of Foscote, Lord Justice Jonathan Parker and Lord Justice Lloyd during their time at the Bar. Keith also takes pride in the fact that two of Radcliffe’s current silks have been clerked by him since they were pupils.
Keith, in conjunction with John, is responsible for overseeing all matters relating to the clerks’ room ensuring a high level of service to both members of chambers and clients alike. Keith believes that a commercial, flexible and user-friendly approach is vital in building long-term trusting relationships with clients.
In his spare time, Keith enjoys both watching and playing football (at a more leisurely pace than in his youth), running, socialising with friends, reading, listening to music, theatre and gardening.
