Dov Ohrenstein wins in the Court of Appeal

Dov Ohrenstein appeared in the Court of Appeal for the successful Respondent in the case of Chong v Lui[2010] EWCA Civ 398.
The case concerned whether or not an Assent of a Property into the joint names of a mother and her youngest son was effective to transfer a beneficial interest to that son. On 26/1/10 The Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the trial judge that the Assent only passed legal title to him. The full judgment of the Court of Appeal is awaited.
