Roberts v Gill & Co and Whitehead Vizard

Tom Dumont appeared in the Supreme Court on 22nd & 23rd February 2010 in the first Chancery and Professional Negligence case to be heard there. The Supreme Court panel was headed by Lord Hope, whose investiture as a Knight of the Thistle took place during the second day of the hearing. Tom, instructed by Barlow Lyde & Gilbert, won the case before the first instance judge, and the Court of Appeal. The Supreme Court’s decision is awaited.
